something that would be in the context of the superheroes described as being a great silver looking, upright bobby of a printer dragging a deer out of that face, going to peel to where he goes hand. I got a question for you. He's deep believing demons and it takes one big step and vanishes. I'm like, oh, my God, that was a big monster. Look at these pictures of this white creature. Something seven foot, three to eight foot tall, and this bear was standing on his hind legs and he was running like this was no fair. Now, when it stood up, that's when I knew it was a dog. Welcome back, guys, to the Kentucky X Files. What are we doing tonight? Yeah, we got a guest. Yeah, we got another guest. Yes, we sure do. Lady named Veronica. And I'm actually bringing up, from what I understand, she's had a Sasquatch encounter here in Kentucky. So it's going to be interesting to hear. Speaking of that real quick, guys, I want to let you guys hear this one. It's an email that came in. Oh, that was my bad. You normally do that? Yeah, it's whatever. Yeah. Check this out. This one. This is pretty wild. Okay, Denny. Guys, I was the one who reported the Sasquatch in Campbell County. Nice. We've been searching for this guy. It says here, I'm pretty sure that I know you, Denny. I will reach out to you soon and we can talk. Until then, I'd like to remain anonymous. Thank you. That's all it says. It's perfect. That's as cryptid as we could. That is our cold right there. We've been literally hoping for this since the beginning because we've only ever had one big sighting that was reported. So it's nice to actually get some feedback finally, you know what I mean? The only thing that's kind of weird me out is that the guy says he knows me and I'm like, okay, who are you? Why didn't you leave your name? It would have been nice. I also would like to go on to say that in the spirit of being anonymous, he did use the support page. So being anonymous, that was a good call because he's keeping his email. I was a little bummed about it. Yeah, we're bummed about it. But I'm glad that he finally kind of reached out. I would hope that eventually he could, even if he wants to reach out to us anonymously, kind of give us a depiction of more of what he saw that night. That's more of like what I want to hear from him. We just want to start to figure out if that one is still in this area or it moved on because everybody has their own beliefs on if it migrates or if it doesn't, it stays in one place, right? So if it does stay in one place, why haven't we had more of those recurring sightings? Because this one, it was close to the Licking River, right? Yeah, that's what the report said. Yeah, that's why I'm saying where does the Licking River and has anybody else had any more sightings like that down there? That's what I'd like to know along the Licking River, which we are right now. I'd also like to know at what point on the Licking River. The thing that's got my mind kind of rattling is I'm trying like, who is this? You know what I mean? And I'm named after my dad, so maybe they know him, I don't know. The only bad part about a message like that is it just starts 1000 more questions in my head. It's a little very happy that you reached out, but I'd like to like to know more. And if you do know me, then you know where I'm at. Come on down, you know what I mean? I don't know what else to say. If you're listening to this, just be sure whatever you say and you don't want on the podcast, we'll keep it out, we'll keep you anonymous. We don't use it. We won't tell anything. The only thing we will tell is what you probably just put on the report and plus just give you more of the little details that you had that night. Yeah, I'd like to know a lot about it because like we said, the Licking River is right there. It's really close to where we are right now. We're basically in the path of the squatch. At any point we could hear something, we could see something. I'd like to know, I want to know what time of year it was. I want to know every detail we can get. Because not only that, we have other people that we're working on talking with that are in the Southern Kitten County area that think that the squatch is migrating towards Campbell County, towards the Looking River. Okay. And I'm really curious to see if the stories line up. Two different batches of people if the stories line up at the times of year line up. Yeah, dude, I didn't even really think of the implications. That's pretty big. Yes. I appreciate you reaching out, man. And feel free. My door is open. Moving on. Had some good stuff, people reaching out. Actually, you know what? Real quick, it's not an email, but you know what, this guy reached out and I just want to shout him out real quick just for the fact that he sent a quick message. I don't know what episode it was, was talking about the Hellier documentary. And Paul Wells wrote in. I don't know if you guys know Paul, I don't know Paul. So I assume he's listening to the show, he actually said, I guess you guys probably already know this, but the documentary was actually made by people from CinCin and actually in Covington. Thank you, paul did actually know that. Really appreciate you sending that in, though, letting us know. Yeah, in the documentary, it shows that they moved here from Canada, but they got the messages while they were still living in Canada. Absolutely. Also, too, you know what? I want to just go ahead and just throw a big blanket, shout out to all you guys ever on the YouTube channel who are blowing it up. Don't stop that. Keep that coming, man. We really appreciate it. I've been sick for a couple of weeks there, so I didn't have a chance to really respond to everything. But I'm feeling better now. I love reading the comments. Yeah, I love hearing the input, the point of views, man, I really enjoy that. It's awesome to see recurring people commenting. It makes me feel better because we're still putting out good content that they're enjoying, and they're coming back each week to watch it and stuff. But it does warm my heart to see somebody new and then he or she becomes a regular on there. I do like that and stuff. And that's awesome because it keeps growing, and the Kentucky X Files group is just growing crazy. I really like seeing where people find us from. Like, when they say, I was sent here from this YouTube channel, that's awesome because then you start seeing the trail of how people find us. And you can definitely see the Scott Carpenter folks that are coming through, the Swan Lake folks that are coming in. And then the how to Hunt crew, they're coming in. And you know what? To me, I'm like, you know what I said to one person who just joined the channel? I think it was a couple of weeks ago. They just said hi. And they were here and they said that, hey, I just came over from Swan Lake and I'm glad I did. And I was like, hey, you know what? Any friend of Robert is a friend of ours, so welcome. You be welcome among us. We really appreciate the inputs and the support. So big shout out to you folks out there. You guys are amazing. Totally the reason why we do. Yeah, I think did we get a comment a couple of episodes ago? A guy said that he was from Scotland? I believe so, yeah. It was awesome. Very cool. Yeah. And if you look at some of the analytics, too, there's people in South America, South Africa, the spurs, easy. It's crazy how much we've been reached. Like, we're reaching around the world. And that's cool. Absolutely. I know eventually, hopefully, our cousins over there in Australia have some stories I'd love to hear about the Yowie. I'd really like to talk to you guys and get you over here and see what you have to say. I just want to really see if their stories match up to ours. I would love that. It'd be great. I know this is probably reaching, but I would even love to hear anybody who wants to sit and talk to us about the yeti. I would really love to hear that. I just want to compare. I just want to archive and see somebody from Florida to tell us about the skunk ape. Absolutely. Oh, my god. I want to hear about the skunk ape so bad. I really appreciate you guys out there, and hopefully you guys continue enjoying listening to these as much as we have fun making them. I think we're going to be doing a lot more by this episode. I'm sure you've either heard or seen the midweek episode, so make sure you let us know how you like those and if you want to see more of them and we're going to keep pushing them. I don't really know. Do we have anything else we wanted to throw out there tonight? No. Do you have anything back story on this person that we're going to call?

Participant #1:
Okay. So when she messaged our facebook group, which I'm so glad that I'm glad to see, that actually come to fruition there, she said that she had an encounter in somewhere around lecher county, Kentucky. I might be saying that wrong, but I think that's what it was. Yeah, I told her. I was like, you know what? I really appreciate you reaching out. I'd love to hear more. Do you want to just type it out to me, or do you want to just come on and tell us about it? She was like, you know what? I'll do either or. That's. Who we're going to be talking tonight? I don't know really any more details than that. She wrote the encounter out, and then we started talking about just coming on the show. So I didn't actually sit and read the whole thing because I was like, I don't want to read it and then her tell it. I want to just hear it from her. You know what I mean? Yeah. I skimmed through it a little bit just to get some of the basics in case I wanted to ask a question. Okay. But I didn't dive into it a lot because I figured, why not let her tell her story and let's let it roll how it goes. Yeah. If you guys are ready, I'm ready to talk to her. I'm ready to hear what she was saying. Maybe we'll learn something, which would be great. Let's give her a call.

Participant #1:
I got to put it on the table.

Participant #1:
Hello? Hello? Can you hear us? Hello? Is that better? Oh, so much better. Yeah, so much better. If you would have heard what we heard, it was insane. We're really glad that you decided to talk to us. We're very interested in hearing what you experienced. Did you say Lecher County? Yeah. I'm not sure if you would know where it's at. Close to Wattsburg. I'm not really familiar with the area, you guys. It's kind of close to Virginia. I'm about 30 minutes from the Virginia line. Okay. Yeah. Okay. So what exactly happened?

Participant #1:
My son and I had

Participant #1:
like the peak time was supposed to be right around 02:00 a.m.. So we went outside about that time. It was between two or 215. Yeah. And the sky was so cloudy we couldn't see anything, so we just decided to come back in. And I guess I should explain to you how my house is situated. My house is situated. It sits right beside a hill. Okay. And there is a little we call it a pump house. It holds the water pump to our house that sits like, maybe 3ft from my house. Okay. Well, we started up the steps to go back into the house, and I caught something out of the corner of my eye. And I was like, what is that? And I turned around and I looked and there was this I called Creatures Stand in there and it was as tall as my pump house. My pump house was like 7ft tall, at least. Wow. And it was dark. I could see it. I could see the outline of it. It was huge. I mean, I'm five foot tall. And this thing scared me to death, I believe. And it looked like it was covered in hair. And it scared me. And I squealed at my son. I was like, let's get in my house. And my son saw it. My son turned around, seen it at that point. And when I squealed, it took off on my house and we ran in the house. And by the time we got into our living room, my daughter's head came from their room at the back of the house and said, mom, something just went by her window. And she said it was like it was beating on the side of the house, I guess hitting the side of the house as it went by. And so, like, me and my four kids, we all seen it and heard it, and so I made sure and it's just me and my kids. I'm a single mom, and I didn't have anybody around. So we just walked up the house and we all slept in the living room that night. No kidding. Wow. And that was one of the scariest things I've ever experienced in my life. I believe it. And this all happened. How fast do you think all this happened? I know you're probably pretty afraid that night, and it probably felt I'm sure time worked a lot differently when you're scared, but the adrenaline was kicking in, I'm sure. Yeah. What do you think? I mean, a couple of minutes.

Participant #1:
You there? Did I lose you?

Participant #1:
I'm sorry. I'm having a hard time hearing you. Oh, I'm sorry. I noticed our connection seems to be going in and out a little bit now. I was just curious, how long do you think the whole thing lasted?

Participant #1:
I would say a couple of minutes. Yeah. I was so scared. I honestly don't know. Kidding. The next day I went out to see if I could see anything. But

Participant #1:
I've lived there my whole life. I'm 41 years old. I've lived in the same house my whole life. And when I was little, we would have instances were in the back of the house and my mom and I. But it makes me wonder if this thing's always been there, like something that's been living around the area for a while maybe. Yeah. Have you heard any other reports around there for anything strange like that? I've heard a couple of reports from up on Pine Mountain, which is about 25 minutes from where I live that they have actually seen a creature like that there. Yeah, but as far as from around where I live, no, I haven't heard of anybody else seeing it in that exact area. Wow, so this was the only time that you've ever had this type of creature around your place? You haven't heard anything since? That's the only time. I've never honestly haven't seen anything since. I have heard weird stuff. Like sometimes if you go out at night, I try not to, but you can hear like, knock. I've done research on it and like, the tree knock, to me, that's what it sounds like. Can you describe the tree knock? Was it like a bunch of knocks or one big one? It would be like a couple of just like a knock knock. It just sound like somebody picked up a stick and hit it against the tree. Well, it's pretty intense. I'm sorry that you had to go through that, especially with your kids. I mean, that's terrible. But yeah, ever since how are you holding up now? I'm okay now. We're actually renovating the house, and I just make sure that we leave before it gets dark because that happened six years ago, but it scares me. Yeah, I definitely understand that. Unfortunately, that seems to be the case when people experience this type of stuff. In all honesty though, I have to admit you're really brave just to talk to us about it. There's not a lot of people want to talk about it. They don't want to bring it up. I've honestly been really hesitant about talking about it because I did tell a few people one time about it and it got out and I was ridiculed immensely and it was humiliating. And that's why people don't come forward with stuff like this. Because of that right there. That's exactly it. That's why we're here now, because we're not going to ridicule you. We want to know we want to know what happened to you because it might happen to somebody else. If it happens to somebody else. They might hear this. They might know that they're not alone in the experience. I came across your website by accident, actually looking for stuff like this, and I was so glad I found you guys because it's something that I think needs to be said and needs to be put out there. And I understand why people don't unfortunately, that seems to be it. There's thousands of people every year now who are going through experiences like yours. And for every one person we talk to, there's hundreds that don't come forward. They don't want to be ridiculed, they don't want to be looked at differently, they don't want to be made fun of, et cetera, so forth. That's just not what we're about. We want to know what happened to you. We want to make an archive of it. We want others to be able to hear your story, what happened to you, and say, okay, so somebody else had this happen. I'm not crazy. I had an experience myself years ago that took me 20 years to come to terms with. I totally understand it throws you off, it makes you scared to be out in the dark. You get kind of focused on it because it just didn't make sense. And doing this show has helped me a lot. So I'm hoping just being able to tell us and know that we take you serious and we're never going to ridicule you. I appreciate that you found us by accident. I'm glad you found us. I'm thankful I found you guys because actually, I feel like a weights been listed off my shoulders. Honestly. Yeah, we always tell people it's the best way to I understand that you were scared about telling this, but it's more empowering to let it get off your shoulders and stuff and you can help somebody else get it off their shoulders too. Absolutely. Because I feel like that type of weight on you, it's going to torment you forever. So we're glad that you came on the show. Absolutely. I appreciate you so much. Absolutely. I don't know if you had anything, if you have anything else you want to tell us about, anything weird, anything that you're not sure about or even questions. We have met a lot of great people doing this show so far. We can put you in touch with other people who have had sightings. Yes. We seem to be picking up in the Eastern Kentucky following. Okay. I appreciate. Absolutely. Also, too, we won't keep you on all night or nothing like that, but if you ever need us for anything, don't hesitate, reach out. You got friends in us now forever. I definitely will. I have other stories from stuff that happened in Ledger County. Ledger county is actually a pretty big hot spot for stuff like this. Really? What kind of stuff do you have going on down there now? This I didn't witness personally, but my father told me this and my father was a very honest man. There's a little place called carbon glow, which is about 20 minutes from where we live, and there has been a lot of UFO sightings there. In fact, there is one documented in the local newspaper. This happened back in, like, the early 70s, that full bus, actually, and the bus just completely stopped, would not start. None of the electronics or anything worked on it. Wow. But telling you, that leads into what my father experienced. My father actually worked on a coal mine up there, and he was like the first one that would go in the mornings. He was older, he owed all the big equipment and stuff, and he would get up there about 04:00 in the morning, and he said one morning was up on the main top of the mountain. I've been there. And he saw this bright triangular state crash go from one side of the mountain to the other. And he said it happened so fast, he said there was no possible airplane or anything that could have went that fast. No kidding. Interesting. Yeah. You've definitely piqued my interest with this one. I'm the resident alien guy on the show. Oh, yeah. Josh eats his stuff up. We want to know everything. That's pretty amazing, though. Absolutely. And I was just looking at the map, trying to figure out where fletcher county was, and you're actually really close to where my mom's side of the family is from down in pikeville.

Participant #1:
Okay. We're right in the corner up right next to virginia. Yeah, we're from brushy mountain, so yeah, that's pretty close. And there's some pretty eerie stories I hear about from that side of the mountain, too. And when I was in high school, my art teacher actually told me a story. Him and a buddy of his was up in the same place, carbon low. They were hunting, and they heard this loud noise above them, and they looked up, and they saw something, and it caused them to fall down the side of this mountain just a little ways, and when he got back up, they had lost 4 hours of time. Wow. Interesting. I've heard of time loss before. Yes, I've heard of it, too. He told us that when we were in high school, and, I mean, I had no reason to doubt him. He was serious. Like, when he told it, he was very serious. He told it. No kidding. That's pretty wild. Do you hear about stuff like that recently going on? Not recently. This probably happened 20 years. I've been out of school for a long time, but

Participant #1:
I hear stuff often in weird stuff that goes on, especially up in that area. Up in carbon globe, you can see lots and stuff that happened recently. I've heard of people talking about that. Yeah. I have to ask, since you're in that area, I don't want to creep you out with this stuff, but have you heard of the little people?

Participant #1:
Yeah, like something like that. Because you started talking about coal mines and that and they have something that's been have you heard any stories other than the Hellier documentary? I have heard of stuff living in mines around here as far as personally knowing somebody that said something. But I have heard of we call them old times, older generation talk about stuff living down in the minecraft. Yeah, okay. I have heard that. I've actually looked into that a lot myself. I've heard a lot of that. What was that again? Sorry about that's. Okay. I've heard a lot about that. Like around the parkville area, but not around modern so much. Okay. Pikeville. It seems like Pikeville has a hell of that whole area. The activity. Yeah, a lot of coal mines really desolate. I also heard recently, I know that a lot of the coal mining towns are kind of shutting down and basically becoming abandoned, too. And I've been here and remember of a lot of activity happening in those areas now that people aren't as prominent, you know what I mean? Especially in regards to the big sasquatch thing, you know what I mean? There's a lot of people that swear that a lot of those areas that are abandoned now are just hot spots, right? Yeah. That brings me to a question I could want to ask. You don't have to tell us the actual location, but are you near any kind of water source, like a river or a lake? Yeah, there's a creek. Okay.

Participant #1:
It leads into the Kentucky river. Okay. So there's our highway right now I have a question for you, too. I know that everything probably went very fast, but when you had your encounter, did you smell anything? I did not smell anything. It could have been that I was just so scared, I wasn't really paying any attention, but I didn't smell anything. I just saw it with my eyes and heard it. Veronica, I have kind of a tongue in cheek question for you. I hope you don't take offense to this, but there's going to be a lot of people out there that ask the infamous question, well, why didn't you take a picture? During your experience, did taking a picture ever even cross your mind? No, I mean, I didn't have anything with me. I was just right outside my house. Absolutely. And that makes total sense to me. The one thing I hate that is people have these experiences and then somebody comes out, some armchair expert comes out of the woodwork and says, why didn't you take a picture? Right. If it's a one and done situation like hers, she would never have thought to take a picture. Now, the people that reached that moment when something like that happens, your adrenaline flowing. And honestly, even if I had a camera in my hand, I would have ran in the house because I was so absolutely. That makes sense. Especially what you said. If it's a researcher, then yeah, it's like, okay, you're there for this. Take a picture if you're blindsided. Didn't you say you're like, what, five foot tall? Yeah. Staring down something that's when you look over and you're five foot tall. Yeah. Yeah, we're pretty tall. And I still feel like if I looked over and saw something that big, it would startle me. I can tell you from personal experience that I am six foot five, and I've been around a person that was seven foot one, and he cast a shadow on me. I don't know the word I'm looking for, but it was intimidating immediately because I'm not used to having my little cousin Stephen, I don't want to say this wrong, he's either a pastor or a preacher, I can't remember which. And if he's listening to this, I apologize because he lives over Norway and he is seven four, I think. Oh, my goodness. I tell everybody you saw him, remember? Oh, yeah. I tell everybody. He's my bodyguard. But when somebody, something that big, especially for guys like us, we don't look up. We're not used to anything being above us. That's intimidating. Now imagine being five foot tall outside at night and something that size. Absolutely. You're not going to think about pulling a camera out? No. The notion is ridiculous to me. I think, though, what you did, though, handling the situation, I think you did exactly the right thing. You went inside, you gathered up your kids and you waited it out. I think it's the best thing you could have did. I don't know what anybody would ever expect. Like I said, I'm really glad that you decided to share it all with us. I'm glad I found you guys because my whole life interest in the paranormal and then when that happened to me, it's absolutely if you go back in our episodes, if you ever feel inclined to, there's an episode where it's called Denny's Story. I think it's called Denny's Story. I can't remember the episode number, but I told my story that night and something really close to me and a good friend screamed at us in an ungodly way. And I spent almost 20 years searching for that scream, every bird, I mean, anything. And I never did figured out what it was until I found Thinker Thunker's YouTube channel. And there was the scream. And as soon as it hit me, because a few years back, I wasn't even remotely interested in Sasquatch at all, I'm not ashamed to admit that I wasn't looking for Sasquatch. The folklore kept talking about a demon in the woods, and I kept looking for that. And I never could find anything. I never found any stories, never nothing. But when I landed on Thinker Thunker's channel there, and I actually heard the scream again, and it was people were talking about Sasquatch, and I said, well, son of. A bitch. I've been looking in the wrong place this whole time. So that's what got me into this. You know what I mean? It changes you. Yeah, it does. It changes you. But, Veronica, you know what? I'm really appreciating you talking to us tonight. Like I said, we won't keep you all night. If you're okay with us leaving this on the episode so other people can hear your experience, we appreciate it. Oh, yeah, that's fine. And like I said, don't ever hesitate to reach out to us, and if anything happens or anything you heard, you want to talk to us, let me know, and we'll get you right back on here with us. How does that sound? All right. I appreciate it. All right. You have a wonderful evening. You too. We'll talk to you soon. You too. Bye bye. Bye. Right there in Kentucky, right there in our own backyard. Basically, I think she did wonderfully. Absolutely. There are people out there that probably, like you said, why didn't you take a picture? I wanted to jump ahead of that. So no matter what, she did the right thing first and foremost, yes. She was scared. Absolutely. Immediately after that, got the kids, made sure that they were safe, put them in one room. I know people have different opinions on the whole sasquatch thing, but I feel like the way that she handled it, I don't think they would have done anything. I've never heard any reports of them trying to break in, other than the ones that I feel like were more, I guess, provoked, in a way. So I think she did the right thing. I think you're confronted by something. I hate to keep judging up the cow, man. It's a great story, but we keep talking about you're sitting here. You felt the eyes on you. You look out, there's a cow there, and it freaks you out. To me, it's like, and that was a cow. You know what I didn't do? What's that? Run and grab a camera. If you had a random picture of a cow, I'm going to be like, okay, this guy's got nerves of steel. Now, if it happened again, I would absolutely grab a camera. Oh, yeah. But not for a one and done instance. If I was going through farmhouses and hanging out in living rooms, trying to look for the cow, man, looking in windows, I'd be ready to go with a camera. Whenever you're out mowing, do you ever kind of glance over at those cows and you're like, you're not getting me right. Not today, Satan. We got a fence between us. We have a fence, and you stay on your side, and I'm going to check that fence and make sure right. Well, then they have to get all the way from the front porch on. Yeah. I'd be a whole event. Honestly, man, I mean, if he made it all the way that way to look in the window. I mean, he might as well just up in the blinds, let him watch. I don't know. And the one that got me was actually from a farm, like, almost a half mile or better down the road. So they had mosied I use that term properly there. They had mosey up one of my favorite words. And it wasn't even just one. There was, like, ten cows out in the yard. But that one was the one. What are you watching? He was really interested in television for some reason. Years ago at the old house, I was sitting there watching TV, and I used to put the dog out, and he'd stay out for hours. He loved it. And he would dig these gigantic manholes for me to lose the mower in. And one day, I didn't notice him doing it, but he used his face to push the there was a little blocker for the dog door that he could not fit in, but his head would fit. He pushed that open and was sitting there staring at me. And I didn't know it. I was watching TV, and I swear to you, I'm almost ashamed to admit this to you guys. I look over and he's like this it scared the absolute shit out of me. And I know this dog. I raised this dog. I know who he is. But his intense, like, what are you doing? I don't know why, but that creeped me out so bad. And I brought him in and I'm like, you got me, bastard. I still love you. Don't be scared. Don't be ashamed, because my dog Leroy has absolutely scared the crap out of me. On multiple occasions. I'll paint the picture. This dog is so black that it doesn't reflect light. So he could just be standing there in the living room when you get the lights out, and you won't even know he's there. Brush up against you one night. And it has nothing to do with the X File stuff, but I remember one night we were in bed and the storm happened, and he burst through the bedroom door. Like, the police knocked the door open, and it just swung open, and the lightning flashed and thunder crashed. And I couldn't see anything because he's like, boxer pitbull lab mix. So he's £65, but he's not real tall, right? So he's below the bed, but he had just blew through the door. And I'm like, what's going on? So he's got me a few times. That's what I'm saying, is these are all things that we know every day we recognize, and they catch us off guard. I had the same thing, but disclosure, I did not hit my son. But he scared the living shit out of that's what kids do. Yeah. I'm like, half asleep, he comes into my room just to give me a hug. I love this boy. Yeah. But I'm like, rolling around. He's like, almost to my face, and I'm like, son of a oh, my God. I was like my heart I was like, what do you want, a tai? I just want to hug. I'm like, I can't be mad at you, but you scared the crap out of me. Tell him about the cat. Oh, my God. The cat. Okay, if you're listening out there, I promise you this one, this is worth it. This is totally worth it.

Was my old car. I had my windows down and I stayed over Denny's for a while. I think we were forging and stuff. And I leave late at night. When I got home, I was actually on the phone, I think with my girlfriend at the time. And I'm just talking, not thinking, but I kept hearing my son actually had, like a toy back there that made noise, but I kept thinking that was like I kept hearing it, but I was like, I guess I looked back and I was like, nothing back there. But I guess something rolled up against it and hit it. So I thought nothing of it. And I pull it in my driveway, and I'm like, still on the phone. And next, you know, I just see something come out of the corner of my eyes and turns to me. Oh, my God. So I've had almost the exact same thing happen. I almost wrecked my truck because I was over at my friend's house, windows down, hanging out, and I decided 02:00 in the morning, I head back home and one of the farm cats had jumped into the truck and was sleeping in the floorboard. Now, keep in mind that any vehicle I've ever owned, the first thing I do is disable the dome light. I don't want the light to come on unless I tell it to. So I disable it to where it doesn't open the door. So I hopped in my truck with black carpets, black seats. I'm driving on the road and out of nowhere, this thing just jumps up on my dash and scarcely is moving crap out of me. Oh, my God. I know your pain. At least you were stopped. I was in motion. I was doing 55 one. If I wasn't parked, I would have rained through my garage. Oh, man. I almost ran off the road on 17 over it. That's kind of the whole reason I wanted to bring these up was these are all things we know and especially hanging around here. Yeah, the occasional cats going to jump in your car and chill out for a while because they're cats and they think that it's theirs. But again, none of us decided to take a picture. Nobody took a picture of the cat. Phone cameras were the last thing on our mind when it happened. And here's this lady, Veronica, and she goes walking outside to look at a meteor shower. And there's the seven foot tall thing standing there. I couldn't even imagine. I couldn't imagine. I laugh about being getting scared by my dog. We laugh about the cat, your kids scaring the dog and all this. These are all things that we know. We know they're there. We know what to expect. And still it catches us off guard. But what about something that we don't know, we don't understand? That's what I'm any animal could have if it were on a horse, it would have scared her. Absolutely. Because you're not expecting it to be there when you turn around, you're expecting to see the corner of your house and a pump house, not something standing there staring at you. Yeah. Looking at you. But it happens. It happens more and more somewhere out there. I'm almost certain somebody's listening to this. And it's happened to you too. And you know what? If you want to tell somebody we're here, talk to us, we'll listen. If you've listened to the show up to this point, you know that we're not going to ridicule you, we're not going to make fun of you, nothing of the sort. We're trying to put you guys in touch with each other, which I think is a little bit bigger than all of us. I think when we're together, we're many and we were told not to talk about these things, not to be don't put yourself out there, don't get laughed at, whatever. Well, if Veronica didn't tell her story and somebody else went walking out and this happened to them, they're going to be alone, they're going to keep this secret. Why? Tell us? I commend her. I really do. Sure. It's one thing to go through it. It really is. It's one thing to go through something like this. It's another thing completely to be brave enough to talk about it. And the fact that we were the ones that she would share it with. I think it's the biggest honor of our lives. Thank you, Veronica. Thank you. Absolutely. So, guys, I don't really have nothing else here. We don't got nobody else to talk to tonight. We got a couple of other things we got to work on. I know, but I think if you guys want to wrap this one up yeah, we will. See you guys on the next one. Take care of each other.
