something that would be in the context of the superior. You described as being a grave, silver looking, upright, popular creature dragging a deer out of that taste. Going up the hill room where he he goes hand. I got a question for you, he's. Do you believe in demons? And it takes one big step and vanishes. I'm like, oh, my God. That was a big thing. Look at these pictures of this white creature. Something seven foot, three to eight foot tall. This bear was standing on his hind leg, and he was running like a man. Now, when it stood up, that's when I knew it was a dull man. Welcome back, guys, to the Kentucky X Files. Got some cool things on the horizon. Little, little bit, little nougats. Oh, yeah. Always. Every week. Every week brings more and more and more. And it's no, no different this week. No different this week. We've seen a lot. I've been combing the Facebook Bigfoot groups a lot, and I've been sending you guys stuff about the one with all the eyeshine in it and the crazy sounds. What is it? The bigfoot now group. Yeah. Was it that one? It was bigfoot. Now. Yeah. Bigfoot now. That's a great group. That was some creepy, creepy shit. Yeah. Some of the audio, man. Yeah, that was pretty wild. I was having problems with it. I couldn't hear it. I finally got a chance to listen to it with the headset on, and I was like, I wish I hadn't. Yeah, it's pretty disturbing. The forest. Hearing a baby cry in the random forest, like, in the forest. Yeah, we've talked about that in the past. That should be on our list. If we ever work on a list of response to possible Sasquatch or let's just say any cryptid out in the middle of the woods is okay, rule number one, baby crying. Go back inside, watch TV. Picture is us walking in the middle of the forest with flashlights. You hear a baby cry and all you see is Denny's. Like, no turning him back around. It's a big red flag. Yeah, that's what that is. It's baby crying in the middle of the woods. No time to go. Yeah, time to go. I mean, someone on the YouTube had commented. They were like, well, you know, what if what if there really was a baby and it's being taken? And I'll admit, like, there's some moral implications of it. The only thing I keep thinking, though, is that it's just probably not what's happening. My gut instinct is telling me that it's not a real baby out there. It's luring me. It wants me to think there's a real baby out there. But I'm already one step ahead of you. Whatever you are out there, it's not a real baby. And I'm not coming. So just going to think of something else. I said if he wants to go out there and he's like, oh, you can eat buffet free beer, that's more along the lines of what it's going to take, Tony's? Oh, yeah, sorry. I know that's only the thing around here. Chili cheese hot dog for those who don't live in this area. They're delicious. Delicious. They're really good with hot sauce, too. Absolutely. I think we've definitely had some emails and there's definitely some people who need to be shouted out. Absolutely. Big time. I got one from my work, and I don't know if he'll hear this eventually, but john Bacon. Yes, you're hearing the name correctly. This man's a legend. He's a hell of a worker, hell of a truck driver, hell of a businessman all around. Works really hard. And the reason I'm shouting him out is because I was actually training at work with another guy and we saw Mr. Bacon go past and Mr. Bacon was doing his thing and I said, hey, look, there's John. And the guy I was working with goes, oh, dude. Yeah, I've actually went and helped John before. He's an awesome dude. And he's really into this podcast about sasquatch and UFOs and stuff. So I'm like, oh, really? He's like, yeah. And we got the talking. Turns out he's talking about this podcast, and John is apparently out there spreading the love and sending people our way. So big shout out to John and our new fan who just started listening, gavin, the guy who heard about the show from John. Shout out to you too, man. Keep doing what you're doing, you're going to get everything you want in life, man. I know it. You got the right attitude. What else do we got? You said that one of them you knew from the YouTube video. Oh, yeah. Kathy Roberts. Kathy Roberts. She's an old friend and she's been listening and she's been commenting. And I think that's awesome that she's interacting very well. Yeah, definitely. Thanks for listening, Kathy. You know we love you. She said she really enjoyed the sound of the crickets in the podcast. Yes. And I know someone at work had actually asked me if we were using a backing track. I can assure you we absolutely are not. I love it that you think that we're that advanced that we would or could do that. I'm willing to divulge the secret of how we do it. We program every cricket. Yes. I download IRS from Sweetwater, which is a great music company. And I actually download cricket files and I program them to go into certain time signatures to match the show. There you go. No, I actually take a sure 57 vocal mic and I put it on a microphone stand and we put it just far enough away that it doesn't hear us talk, and it can pick up all of the sounds on the property that I live on because I'm out here in the country. Absolutely. Those are absolutely real crickets. We are currently about 25 miles south of the Ohio River, out in the middle of nowhere where cell phones don't work. You can't order a pizza and nature leads. I had a guy today ask me why we use why we go with this format now instead of the stereotypical studio quiet clean. I got a little overzealous with my response, which I apologize for it, but he actually said it made sense to him. I said, because for one thing, we tried it. We tried to do studio clean, studio clear. And you know what? The stuff that we talk about is just not studio clean and it's not studio clear. Some of the stories are just not cut and dry. They're not happy endings, they're not great, blah, blah, blah. Not only that, the stuff we talk about is stuff that is happening in nature. People are experiencing this. They're not in studios experiencing this stuff. They're out in the world experiencing it. That's what they said. I told him. I was like, you know what? In a way, we're pushing back a little bit. Yes, technology is bringing you this podcast technology. Hopefully, we're helping you guys get through whatever it is that you need us to help you get through during the day. But at the same time, they're just crickets. But there's so much more, aren't they? That's the real world out there. I'll tell you what, we'll take a picture of the mic, stand in the yard and show you what's going on behind this house, and we'll put it up with the episode on the Facebook page. So you got to go to the Facebook page to see it? Yeah, get a little attention there. See, that's how it's absolutely how it's going to get them there. But you'll see it. You'll see what we're recording. It's nature. There's nothing for miles. You don't see anything but cattle, pasture and woods. To me, I see the real world. Yeah, that's the way I look at it. It's the real world. It's not programmed. It's not artificial. We're not trying to sell you anything. You're just sitting here having a conversation with us. I feel like this we're bringing the camp fire to everybody. That feeling of those times when you go camping with your father and he tells you the stories and stuff of that. Absolutely great analogy. Because when I listen to it, especially ever since we started to single out the mic, it's so rich. I literally listened to one of our last episodes, and I'm not trying to pull our chain here or give it a pat on the back, but dude, it creeped me out just by listening to our stories and hearing the crickets. It was just odd. It was weird. No, I know that it's going to be my mama loves this, but she does. And she's been listening. And that's one of the things she said. And she grew up much further out in the country than I did in the mountains and pikeville. And that's one of the things she absolutely loves about the podcast is because it feels like she's out in the country listening to people telling stories on a front porch. That's exactly what I personally hoped for with the show. And thanks for listening, mom. Absolutely. You're a wonderful woman. There's another shout out. Let's see what else we got on the table here. We got some emails, a couple of emails. I think one of them is deserving of a bit more attention. Not to say that any, my little wire popped off here when I had to edit that out. But one of the emails is from Robert Judd up at Swan Lake. And I can read the email, but for context, I'm going to start this ever. Let me fix this electrician tape. That's mandate. That's what I use it for is when I split my fingers open and shit, there's something in the glue and electric tape that makes you heal faster. And if there isn't there, you know what I'm going to do? I am absolutely going to create a product called Mandate that has Neospore and built into the glue. I think you should just start a rumor. Might never matter, right? Everybody be like, yeah, dude, right. Kind of like the whole WD 40 helps with arthritis. Yeah, I know people that actually they had people that swore by it. Fucking beautiful. One email I have here is from Robert up at Swan Lake. And I realized that for anybody out there that has a minor suspicion, we definitely do have a little bit of a romance with this guy. And if I'm being quite honest, he's probably my favorite out there. And that's not to say that the other people are aren't doing their part. I absolutely stand by it. But the reason I like Robert so much is that when you talk to him, he's a super humble guy. He absolutely wants you to cross examine what he's working on. He doesn't want the information for his own personal gain. He wants the information for the world. And when you talk to him, you get that out of him. He didn't even just say it. But here's what's going to happen. I'm going to let you guys know the premise of this. And then there's going to be a video. Oh, this is kind of announcing I'm tongue tied because I'm kind of excited about this. Yeah, couple of parts. There's going to definitely be a YouTube video that we will be releasing within the next few days that will go further into detail with this. But for the sake of just shouting Robert out, here's the email we got here. Hi, guys. Robert here from Swan Lake. Bigfoot. I hope this finds you both doing well. I imagine you are busy keeping up with all the happenings out there in the bigfoot dog man and the unexplained realm of things. So my channel is growing at an alarming rate, lol. There are days my head is a swarm of thoughts trying to remember to answer comments or at least acknowledge the person who sent the message, all the while making sure that I have the content to put up for the channel. But I am enjoying it. I need to thank you for all the support because I believe you both played a major role in increasing the subscriptions and the growing interest in what I am doing here and how I'm doing it. I was wondering if at some point you would do a video analysis of one of my videos. Here's the link. He provided the link. Do what you do. Do your magic. Lol. I at the same time would send people your way to see your results. I had subscribers suggest to get a hold of Thinker Thunker to go over the video, but I think that you could do the job just as good, maybe better. This would as well give me the chance to do a bit of a shout out and to send a thank you out to the Kentucky X Files. If you think this might be a good idea, you can. And if you're not too busy, please let me know. Thanks again, Robert. So that was the email we got and he did send the email link. My response to Robert was basically this I'm all over it, buddy. Give me a couple of days and it's all yours. So here's what happened. He sends the link over to me. I finally, last night, sat down and I ran his video through my computer and I blew it up, I enhanced it, I slowed it down, I sped it up, I introduced it to the red spectrum. And what you guys are hearing is a thunderstorm coming in. Hopefully it's a thunderstorm or it's just a good rain. I think we just got a good rain. You may hear a little bit of difference in the audio because I had to throw my headset down and go grab the 57 out of the yard and move it because that's real crickets you were hearing and my microphone was getting real rain on. Now, did you just program those raindrops while you were away from the table there? I will say that unfortunately, you're not hearing on a ten roof as much as I'd like to, as much as you are hearing it on the hood of my ocamino. Not with a podcast. Trust me, the tin roof thing doesn't work great with okay, I love tin roof rain, but not with this set up. Yeah, we wouldn't be able to hear anything anyway. So, guys, here's what's going to happen once we're done with this episode. Tonight, we're actually going to sit down and watch what my results were together. Let me just say this. Whenever somebody sends me a picture of what they think might be a creature or bigfoot or dog man, whatever it is, once I introduce it to the red spectrum, what it does is it basically goes in and it fills in the blanks of basically shadow and negative space in pictures, which is commonly where these creatures are alleged to be. Right? So the red spectrum goes in, and it fills those dead spaces up. So in the end, the thing that you thought was a face is a shadow, and the red spectrum just fills it in and gets rid of it. Right? Robert has a clear face about 10ft off the ground behind him, and he's sitting there just like he always does. He's talking to the camera, and he's explaining what his thoughts are. And I love that about his videos, by the way. He kind of like, blogs it, just talks it out, and he works it out. Behind him, there's a face, and I saw it, and he in his video, he he circled it and showed it because he caught it, too. That's the whole reason he sent it. The red spectrum would not get rid of the face. So that was my first thing when I introduced a red spectrum to it. I was like, well, I'll be damned. The face isn't disappearing. It's not negative space at all. It's an object reflecting light. Okay, interesting. The other thing that gets me about it is when you see the offset of the width of the head, okay? The width of the head is probably, to me, the gem in the video, because not only does it show you a face, but it shows you a proportioned face that is not human. It does not share human proportions. Okay. Then there's the third big thing. It moves. But the way it moves is what will get you it doesn't move like a human does. I still don't have a good way to describe this. I know I tried to describe it earlier, but it's almost as if it knows how the trees are going to move. Right. And I have a theory behind that. Okay, again, I'm really good for speculating wildly, but if a creature had long, bristly hair on its head and shoulders, like you always see in the videos, the pictures, anything you see, anybody catching of anything a bigfoot, there's always, like, a crest, and there's always bristly hair across the shoulders. Right. We all know from having a beard that we know which way the wind is blowing. Absolutely. Because we can feel it in the bristly hair on our face. So what if the bristly hair on the shoulders and the head and the face allow it to know which way the moves? Yeah. If the branch is moving like this, he doesn't lean with the branch moving he lets the wind blow the leaves and he moves as if he's the tree. But the way he moves, you can see the mistakes in it. You can see that he's purposefully doing it. So that was the third big thing that I deduced was, okay, so I have an object here that I can clearly see is making its own decision on how it's moving. And it gave me some cold chills in mimicry, but maybe not perfect. Perfect memory. Yeah. So Tyler and I, I don't believe you haven't seen it yet, have you? I haven't seen the video yet. So you and I are going to be fresh with it as soon as we see it. We're going to be seeing it for the first time, reacting for the first time with it. So should we dip our toes in the water and tell them what's to come with this video? What that means as far as the snowball effect, what it will mean is folks out there is that a couple of different things that we've been floating around. One is we're definitely going to throw out a YouTube video on this to show you guys the actual analyzation of Swan Lake's. Bigfoot video with Robert's permission. The other thing is, we're thinking about giving this a test run to do kind of a mid week touch base with you guys. I'd love to hear your feedback on that. And I think we might try to record one and see what you guys think. If you want an episode in the middle of the week, kind of get you through till Monday again, let us know. Let us know what you think. In the meantime, we're going to record one and send it out and wait to hear back. See what's we were actually having discussions the other day, spitball and stuff, back and forth with each other, talking about it. It was the midweek. I think we're talking like maybe 1520 minutes, maybe start doing videos on YouTube, do the theory videos where we look at videos and either debunk them or pull red spectrum. I'd like to get more like a normal schedule with the crypto theories, but the problem with the cryptid theory is that it always happens when something comes up and it's hard to go out and find videos to theories just come out of nowhere on us. They don't just come out right then and there. We have a booklet of them. Right. That's the only thing bad about the crypto theories. And I had the idea of that spit boulder ground of doing, like, a weird news segment a lot. I like that, picking up just weird news from all over the world just to put an episode out in the middle of the week. Like I told you, when I was just a listener, that was one of the things I wanted was something in the middle of the week, something to kind of get you through something short, little 2030 minutes video, 1520 minutes. It doesn't have to be anything big. But the other thing, too, was that the idea of doing video to put our faces on. Yeah, because that was something that I noticed perusing some of the other websites that talked about other people's forums, was that certain people that do what we do refuse to show their face for whatever reason. And that was one of the main things. I mean, I must have found a thousand different articles on people mad about that, because it's like, how do you trust somebody that's not it won't show their face. They won't show their face. You don't know anything about them. Are the names real or is this person real? Is this an Internet persona? Right. I can tell you that we are absolutely using our real names. Yeah. Probably a mistake. Probably not a mistake. We really are who we say we are. I mean, it's probably not that difficult to find us, but we're also not out there making absolute assertions. No. We just riff off the cuff of everything else that's going on out there. And I feel like we try to talk about stuff like the average guy, because it's what we are. Yeah. We bring our two cent into the table. I feel like just like a couple of the ones that we like YouTubers, that we like, I feel like we try to give them everybody a platform to talk, and we're we're just like, like you said, average. Just giving our two cent, our theories, our thought process on it. But we never I don't want to cut anybody down. I'm not going to say you're wrong. I'm not going to say right or anything of that nature. It's just and for the life of me, I can't figure out why anybody would want to listen to three middle aged white guys sitting in the garage talk about X File stuff. But the fact that you do is amazing. It's awesome. And we're going to keep doing it because you keep looking, listening. That's the thing that I keep coming back to is why is the show so important? Obviously it's important to me because two reasons. One, I like what we're doing. I really do enjoy what we're doing. And the second reason, which is the bigger reason, once a week, I get to sit around with my bros, have a few cold drinks, and talk about some weird stuff that's priceless no matter what. I feel like everybody should listen to me on this one. The reason why this podcast is what it is is because me and Denny always we have these conversations, even if the mic is never on. That's true. And that's the reason why we kept thinking maybe somebody would listen to us. If not, that's okay. You don't have to. You don't have to. We're just doing this because no matter if the mic is not on, it's not going to stop the conversation. We're going to talk about it. Might as well be a part of it. Might as well be a part of it. Because you can join the conversation anytime you want. Yeah. Send us an email. Listen to that. It's beautiful. And that's what we want. We want you to wake up just a little bit. Yeah. Feel the real world. And we want audience participation. Absolutely. Oh, yeah. Comment. Send us voice messages. I don't I'm tired of telling you messages. Sick of it. Message us on Facebook and post on Facebook. Email us. Yeah. I mean, we're a small enough podcast. We can still get to you guys. We don't have that problem. What's the email? It's encounters@kyxfils.com. Yeah, look at that. He said it better than we do. Yeah, I do. I thought I was going to stumble, but I had made myself look like an idiot. I thought you had him for a second there, but first half I thought you had him. Yeah, he just came back. He was too well planned out. It was just too well planned out. Nothing you could have done. You guys have got to remember I was a fan first. That's true. That is true. Yeah. Got us kind of painted us into a corner. I was a fan first, but again, I was also a friend of Denny's. I recently met you. 27. Seven years. We're coming up on 28. Oh, God. Our anniversary. We're going to get some more nice. Next summer will be 28 years. This time we're going to go to White Castle again. But he said this time we're going in to eat, right? I'm even going to let him have diesel dwarf mustard. I don't know. Let my hair down. I did notice that when I was looking at some of the analytics on the podcast that we have fans that aren't of this country and aren't of this region to explain to them. White Castles is a burger restaurant that sells tiny square burgers called Sliders. And those tiny square burgers are the ruin of many a digestive tract. But they're so good. What if we get sponsored by Wyatt Castle every episode? Now I'm going to think of something we're talking about drinking or eating. Try to get them to sponsor us. I've tried braxton brewery last time. Yeah, maybe we'll get yangling this time. I've been working on Honey Brown for like ten years. We just don't want anything. I'm like the ex boyfriend they're trying not to talk to anymore. Currently, Skegx Meads is sponsoring us because that's my mead. Nice. Yeah, nice. That's awesome. We are enjoying a bottle of my lemon meat. It's very good. And we got the younglings kind of going along with it. Some brags and brew garage beers, some yanglings. Oh, yeah. I can't stop calling them younglings. Yeah, I know it's yangling, but I like calling them younglings just because of the Star Wars. Meme, I'm just never going to stop. Anyway, we got another email. Let's get back. Let's do some emails. We haven't talked about anything cryptid at all. No, we're 26 minutes. A lot of planning. A lot of planning going. It's a lot of exciting stuff that's coming up. That's why. Next email is from Sammy Salatin. I hope I'm saying that right. I feel like I am. But if not, Sammy, you have my apology and I welcome you to send a voice message and give me a piece of your mind on that one. I'm just trying to bait people into sending voice messages. I just want to see it work one time, right? You know? But I'm happy with the emails. Here we go. Hey, Denny. Yes, please. Oh, I jumped ahead. I'm sorry. Guys, 1 second here. Here's the email. Hey, fellas. First and foremost, this is going to be a lengthyish email, so I apologize pertaining to your last episode. If you're going to test your theories about the sound with the big guy, think about it in the same premise as a coyote call. I know what you're doing isn't an animal in distress, but like you said, there's always that other alternative. So tread lightly and more importantly, good luck. I hope you guys get something. But for the next bit, I wanted to share some paranormal experiences that I've had over several years. I'm from Cincinnati, I'm 30, and most of this stuff that had happened was when I was from the ages of eight until I was 18 and moved out to set the backdrop. The street I used to live in, used to live on, was called springt. Sorry. Spirit Ridge Lane. It was an old farmland turned into nice suburban houses. The original farmhouse still stands and was occupied on that street. Our house was across the street from the farmhouse, where we suspect an old pond would have been during the late 18 hundreds. My family was talking about this the other day and we figured out that it may have been a little girl haunting our house that may have died in that pond. The more we talked about it, the more it made sense that it was in fact a kid. When I was in high school, I moved into the basement. That's when shit turned up a couple of notches. Every single morning for years. I heard someone following me out of my bedroom, like they were mimicking my footsteps. Plus that creepy feeling like someone's watching and following you in a lot of cold chills. We always heard footsteps walking up and down the hallway near the bedroom upstairs. We have had things go physically missing, never to be found again. And not small things either. I lost an entire box of pottery. My mom lost large cooking appliances, all of which were in storage, placed there by ourselves. There were also weird electric phenomenon that happened regularly. It actually got so bad one night that we. Almost had to call the cops because we thought someone had broken into our house. I also had something physically grab my shoulder and spin me around, only to find that there was nothing there. Plus there's one night I saw a large shadow race across my wall. It wasn't a car, it's more private area and it's heavily wooded. It was also around 02:00 A.m. When it happened. One night we had a fire out by our wood line. The woods were also equally creepy and I grew up in the woods, so that says a lot. Anyway, once the fire died down to an Ember, we all took our turns pissing on it to make sure it was put out. It definitely was out. There were several of us that night and we all walked up the hill and back towards the house. And as soon as we hit the top of the yard, this three to five foot flame burst out of nowhere right behind us. And the fire was in full blaze stronger than it was before. We all stopped, dumbfounded grabbed whatever weapon we could find in the garage and headed down. Their guns ablazing. There was nothing and no one down there. Anyway, that's all I have. If you guys are interested in hearing anything else about this in greater detail or any more experiences that I could share, please let me know. I love the show and keep up the good work. In my response, I actually asked him if it would be okay to share it, and he actually responded with this. Denny, yes, please share this. Hopefully it will help someone out there feel at ease knowing that they're not alone and also know you're not crazy. We try to debunk most of this stuff and there's really no way to explain it other than it was someone from the other side doing these things not to harm us in any way, but definitely not a comforting feeling either. We lived in that house for ten years. My grandma's house also had a spirit that roamed around the upstairs, through the bedrooms and into the attic. I was a little kid when I stayed there for a while, on and off. But even then it always felt like there was something watching you from the top of the steps. I always heard footsteps around, even in the middle of the day. The worst was my mom's old room. And of course that's where I had to sleep when I stayed at night. But that didn't last long and I made sure that I slept in the room next to it in the day bed. It was no Spirit Ridge, but there's something that was definitely there. My mom actually told us just recently that there was indeed a spirit in the house in her old bedroom. Kind of putting that uneasy feeling to rest. But it's something I'll never be able to take back either. Is it what it is right or it is what it is, you know? Anyways, thanks for the response, and I can't wait to hear the upcoming episodes. PS. Thank Josh for me. I actually met him through work, but we don't work for the same company. He encouraged me to write to you guys, and I am glad that I did. Nice. Thank you, Sammy. Yeah. Thanks, Sam. And that's great. I'm glad you went through with it and wrote us the electrical phenomenon thing. I'm interested in that because to put it in perspective, this guy is an electrician, something that if he was looking in hindsight, he could explain away because of his career path. Yeah, absolutely. So this is obviously paranormal, even in the fact of in hindsight, which is interesting. I can also say that he is a very down to earth person, and he was the last person I expected on a job site to be interested in our podcast, let alone want to write us an email. I'm glad he did that's all. Thank you. It's fantastic that he wrote that's. The thing is, you never know who actually is carrying these types of demons. I'm glad that he didn't have, like, a bad experience. I know it was an uneasy one, but at least he's out there letting people know that he had the same experience. He's holding those types of things. He's going through that. So, yeah, just maybe that's the key to this. We might not have the answers, but at least share your experience. Maybe it'll just help somebody else to get that weight off of I know that there's a guideline of the spirit world as far as what spirits can do what forgive me, because I'm not 100% into that, but I know that you've got ghouls and you've got poltergeists and stuff like that. Each one is able to do certain things. Isn't the poltergeist the one that's got the ability to move and interact with the world? Yeah, they can affect energies and cause kinetics. Man, this is just a big can of worms. Sammy, I'm kind of inspired by you sending that. One night soon, folks, I'm going to tell you a story, and it's not going to be tonight, if I'm being quite honest with you guys. My story is really the best way I can put it is it's very emotionally taxing to tell it and to go through it, and it never gets less intense. One night I'm going to tell you what I understand is the truth of things. And it might not be your truth, and that's okay. But suffice to say that in my opinion, just in regards to my own experiences, I've only had maybe eight experiences. They're always consistent. They've never really changed much. I I've only learned a little bit here and there from them. I will say this. Like ghosts and demons and goblins and things, I think that they choose what they are going to be and how they're perceived. I feel like they have total control of it. If they want to be that type of spirit that comes and messes with you or scares you and feeds off of that, I think it's their choice completely because there's a great majority and I mean a great majority, the silent majority. And that majority is most of the ones that you've ever known or loved. That majority lives in a place where they build bridges and you are the bridge. And that's the hardest part. That's the hardest part to get through. The whole thing is when you understand you're the bridge. And what I mean by that is that you connect them all together, whether you know it or not. And everyone in your bloodline forward adds another part, another bridge and brings more together. And then together they have the power to create what they want. And some are disappointed by it because it's not what they were promised. But anyway, it's a long, long story that would probably have to be several episodes. If I could manage to get through one of them, then I would think that that would be cool. I've purposefully avoided going into it since we started, mainly because I told him one day I sit there and I laid it out for him and I told him, I was like, here it is. Here's what's happened. This is what happened to me. Shit, man. It's like ten years later from the first thing that happened. I still can't hardly go through it without literally fighting back tears. I can't not feel it. I don't I didn't get desensitized to it. Over time, it just never lessened in intensity. So, yeah, I will tell you what I consider the ghost story of my life and I'll tell you everything I've learned and I'll tell you stuff that there was no way I could have learned and then you can decide for yourself. And what I really hope might happen is what I really truly hope for is, like I said, being inspired by these people who are reaching out is I really do hope there's someone else out there who's experienced it because that would be a humongous relief. Okay, so you've seen it. You've seen that place. Good. So I'm not crazy. This actually gives me some ideas. I would like to kind of disclose this. I wanted to see if you would like that. So we were thinking about something like earlier we were talking about midweek stuff. I think we should make this a segment like Denny's Ghost Story that will be we'll do a little segment, we'll record you, you tell a little part of it, and we'll do a segment of it. If you guys are into it, if the listeners want to hear it. Yeah, let us know if you guys want to do that, have something to hold you guys over. We'll still try to see if you guys want to do the whole midweek clips. This could be an exclusive for just the podcast side because the other mid week thing will probably be exclusive to YouTube. So this could be something for just the podcast side. I can't help, but there's this thought in the back of my mind that I'm like, once I open this story, there's no going back. Yeah, I think that almost sounds like it needs to be an exclusive, like two hour episode of you. Just maybe we do it on site, on location, like we talked about. Well, that's the beauty of this one, is I am the location, everything that's happened. Just to give you a little context, because I know people are probably going to be listening to this and being like, what are they even talking about? Let me throw this out here. He was talking about me. He's told me this story. And I will say this without a shred of doubt. I love this man to death. I know this man inside and out. I would give my life for this man. I know what he said that he saw and he saw it and he's actually experienced this. We don't want to really give what it's about, but it's about him. He's talking about bridges. Honestly, he is the bridge to these paranormal things, and that's what he's talking about. Truthfully, honestly, I can't think of a better way to do this. Let the listeners decide if they want to hear the story, you know what I mean? If they want to hear it, great, because if they don't respond, if they don't want to hear it, I don't have to tell it. And I'm good with that too. But I feel like eventually you should tell it, though. I'm not going to try to pressure you into doing it, but I feel like just like these other people are telling their stories, I feel like something like this needs to get off your chest. I don't know if that's what you like when you end dude into me. Like, you told me your story, you told your story, but maybe, like you said, I can't relate to you because I haven't had that experience. But maybe some of our listeners have. There's some weird things that have gone on about ten or so, maybe more years ago. It's hard to really piece it together for the folks out there that want to know what I'm being so elusive and vague about. I started having conversations with my deceased grandfather, and it happened in my dreams one night, and it's happened seven or eight times since. And in those dreams, I was given information about things that were happening in my life that I didn't know yet and then would come to understand later. And then recently, only in the last four or five months. The final message that I really received was that it was coming to an end, that I only had to go one more time. But it's? Not yet. And then after that, it's over. I don't really understand fully why it was meant to be what it is, but it changed everything about me when it started and when I came to realize that it was ending, it started bringing me back. I started reaching out to old friends again. I started trying to be more my old self again because life is for the living. And unfortunately for so many years, I was obsessed with the silent majority, the dead, those people. And like I said before, guys, the word ghost to me is a terrible, terrible word. I don't like it. I don't like ghost. I don't like spirit. I don't like phantom. I don't like any of it. I think those words are terrible. I think that those are people. And there's a reason why when you see one, they don't seem normal to you. We're governed by chemicals. We have chemicals in our body that help us with things. It helps us feel. It helps us feel empathy, take all those chemicals away and be left with nothing but logic, right? You know that this is your relative and you know that you feel some connection to them and you love them. But when you're with one of those people, when they smile, it's not because they feel that it's to put you at ease. It's not for them. They don't feel that the same way. And I began to understand that things weren't perfect where they are. And that's okay. It's okay that it's not perfect because there's a great majority of workers, of ones who are trying to make it better and they're succeeding. There's always going to be bad egg. There's always going to be the ones that can't be helped. And there's ones that are so far lost, it takes others to go and bring them out of it. And I saw that for myself, which was amazing, but also terrible. And I think that our listener is absolutely right in saying that it was a kid. Yeah. Because it was the mischievous side. Yeah, it's fun. It's fun hiding things, playing games, not actually showing herself. Or there's the other thing. I've had this intuition in my dreams when they've happened, and they don't happen a lot. It's not an every night thing. It's not even an every month thing. It just happens when it happens. There's this overwhelming intuition that this is a place that I can go to. But it's almost as if you forget how when you wake up, it's almost as if you're just not equipped with the right way of thinking. When you wake up, you're not there. You can't pierce that veil anymore. But when you're asleep and you're there, it feels like it's possible. Like I can literally go through this. I can do this. And it's pure energy. So the idea that there's a kid and it's taking things to see if it can is interesting to me. Right, because that intuition is something that I've also thought of, actually. I think it's possible I might be over thinking this a little bit, but that story that you told me was you told me the one part of it that you said, like you were just saying, some people are so far gone, it takes some of them to bring you back. And that's terrible. But it's good because I feel like that's your bridges. But I feel like that's where I want to believe. That's where the saying came from. Don't burn those bridges. I don't know. I want to believe, like, I can understand that. Don't burn those bridges, because no matter how brilliant, to be honest, don't burn those bridges. Because no matter what, where you are in life, if you have that connection with somebody and you have that bridge and you do go on and this is how if this is the way life passes on, the way I was shown was that because there was people there that weren't related to me, they were related to my wife. Well, there was one who was related to my wife, and then there was an interesting event one night where I was there, and my wife said that I was freezing, and she fell back asleep. She she literally saw what I was seeing, and it scared her to death. She woke up, she was holding on to me, and for some reason, it sucked her in with me. So she got to see firsthand. So literally, that was enough for her. She was done with it. She has her own blanket. You know what I mean? She was done with it. But I saw that I saw someone related to her grandmother. I don't think it would be her to tell that, but her grandmother, but her grandfather was nowhere to be found. I mentioned this to her, and it's really hard to bring this up to people. I had one really difficult one just recently that I was asked to bring it up, and I did, and it was a really hard night, put it that way. And she said, well, my grandfather, he was in the war, and when he came home, he had PTSD really bad, and he was drinking a lot, and he saw things, and things happened to him. And when he passed, she didn't feel like he passed peacefully. She feels like it was rough. Well, when I was there and my guide was always my grandfather, I asked him about him, and all he said was, yeah, don't worry about him. We're taking care of it. We'll bring him back. And that was all I got. It was a good while, months and months and months later, just passing through there again. And the reason was, is because I couldn't find the water line, the old water line at the farm, trying to figure out where the water line was. And me and my dad had dug the whole hillside out looking for this old water line. And in my dream, I said, I was sitting there and my grandfather was sitting on a stump right by where we were digging. And he was sitting there and he was smiling. And I was like, hey. I was like, hey, I'm here. I made it. I made it to the farm finally. And he laughed and he said, Son of my son. I know. I know you have. He's like, but your work is just beginning. It's just starting. And he was so right. And then it dawned on me when I woke up that he was sitting in front of the waterline. So when my dad came back over, I said, Right there. He digs. There it is. And we spent the whole day searching, but there in my dream, my grandfather was sitting right in front of it as if to say, like, by the way, it's here. Just dig there. And it was amazing because me and my dad were like and my dad's like, oh, yeah, I knew it was here somewhere. And I was like, Dude, I don't know how to tell you this. Dad. Like how I know? And he's like, man, we dug up that whole hill looking for this. And I was like, yeah, it's amazing. There was no way for me to know. We brought the water company out and they went up and down the street with these big ass what do you call it, metal detectors. And they couldn't find it. And they were literally sitting there like, there was no water line here. And we're like, Dude, yeah, there was. And they're like, Dude, we don't have it in our magic book here. It's not real. And we're like, okay. And they were like, you're welcome to keep looking. If you find it, let us know. And we tried, but it was like little beautiful moments like that really helped because for years I thought that I was going insane and it turns out I just wasn't. I was temporarily tapped into something that was or something was tapped into me that was guiding me on this path back to the valley, back to the farm. I like to believe, in a way, if we want to. I don't know, I feel like a lot of our listeners have their own idea of what the afterlife may hold for us. But in a way, maybe some of us naming like, you have a better connection. Remember we always talk about instinct, guts, like the gut instinct and stuff of that nature. Just like Max, that day that you told me about him, you never showed him his water bowl was frozen and his first immediate reaction is to jump up and smack it to crush the ice. Breaking the ice and then getting his drink. And it was like, how did he know this? How did he know to do that? Because he's a malamud. Yeah, he just knew it was built in. So I feel like in a way, we're all connected to our ancestors. But I feel like some may can grasp that energy a lot better than most people can. Because first and foremost, we're people of this world, like this Earth. So we have to have some type of connection to it. Energy can't be destroyed. Energy can't be and I think that's what those people are. That's all we are is energy. Stardust and sand. That's what every one of us is. Absolutely. That's why I hate the term ghost. I just don't like it. I think that they're people and I don't think they're even really dead. I think they're just so what's your take on Sammy's story about him never actually seeing a physical entity but having all the experiences? I think because I've never seen a physical entity in person awake. I have never right. I think that some can I can sit here and tell you that, yeah, I've heard things. I've heard entities. One in particular weird situation was driving home with the kids that day, and I literally go past the Grand Slick Cemetery. And as I'm going past it, I hear, hey man, give us a hand. And I literally looked at my daughter and I'm like, what? And she's like looking at me like, what do you need a hand with? She's like, what are you talking about? So I literally stopped and I just looked and I'm like, do you guys remember the windstorm that came through a couple of months ago? I think it just blew down. All the flowers, everything. Dude, I spent like 2 hours, I was in the graveyard picking up flowers and standing everything back up. I'm literally sitting there like, I don't know if this is what I'm supposed to do that you needed a hand with, but hopefully this is what you wanted me to do. I'm sorry. I'm sorry that your place isn't pretty right now. I'm doing my best. Please don't talk to me in the daytime. It's going to be hard to talk about, but I have physically seen people that I care deeply about that have passed in locations. But it's always been in like split second stuff where you look, you see them, you go back, and then you realize this person has been dead for three years. That's an interesting phenomenon, is that your eye cannot do that. It only reacts to what their brain has to interpret it. I don't have permission to make the names on this, obviously, because I'm just telling a story off the cuff. Yeah. And this is one example. A friend of mine's father who passed away some 19 years ago, who was, I guess God had been 19 years, it's hard to believe, was a big influence on my life. Yeah, I spent a lot of time with a man sitting on the front porch. Very wise old salt. He was a teacher. He was a farmer. He was a bus driver. Some of you listening to the podcast that know me probably know exactly who I'm talking about. Sounds like a good old boy. Yeah, kind of. His death was very sudden, and it wasn't expected, and it kind of came out of nowhere, and I guess it kind of shocked all of us, especially his kids. God love them. But for me, it was one of the first times I lost somebody that I was close to. And there was a place that he was always at that I'd bump into him if I didn't see him on the farm or whatever. And I've been there with him several times. It was the place they took us. If we hung tobacco, they take us and feed us. And I'll never forget I was pumping gas, and I turned, and I looked in because the gas station was next to the restaurant. I looked in, and I seen him sitting at his table, and I turned back, and it was one of those that took longer to realize this man's been dead for three years or two years or whatever it was. And I turned back and he was gone. And that's happened to me several times with a few different people that I've been close to. But I don't know how to explain it. I know that it will shake you to your absolute core when it happens, absolutely. But I don't know what to do with it. I don't have a lot of paranormal experience as far as things like Sammy was talking about, things moving, disappearing. I mean, there was a few things that happened when I was growing up that was a little weird that I'll get into in later episodes. I'll start kind of peppering my own stories. Yeah. But it hasn't been anything quite to that extreme where I've been spun around, no physical contact. I've heard stories in the mountains from my mom's side about stuff like that happening. I've heard of it. I've heard of the physical stuff. The only thing I kept thinking was that Sammy's experience to me is, well, within reason. For me, that's the problem. If you ever noticed, when we go into this particular topic, I generally stay out of it. And I'll mention, like, there was this and this, and, yeah, I went ghost hunting one night in blood. But I never really have gone into personal things before, because the fact of the matter is, folks, is that everybody listening. When we talk about Sasquatch, I'm interested. I want to know. I want to get to the bottom of it. I want to understand this beautiful forest being as much as I can the other cryptids. I want to know. I'm curious. But when it comes to those people on the other side, your ghost stories and paranormal stories and stuff, my puzzle is solved. I don't have anything I'm seeking in that. Does it make sense. Yeah. You tell me that you had that experience. I don't even doubt for a second. My critical mind does not dissect it. I go, he was there. Because my gut instinct is the man was there. He went back to a place he liked. I'm a pretty cut and dry person, and we all know anybody that knows me knows I'm fairly skeptical about a lot of things. I automatically dive into the simplest explanation for anything. So when I open up and say stuff like this, I feel like you guys especially, you know absolutely. It's absolute truth that that's what I saw. I'm not making it up for the show. It's 100% true. I think healthy skepticism tyler has always been my healthy skepticism dose. Like, he's always came at me with like, well, what about this, though? And it's like, okay, that's a rational way of thinking about it, and we can roll into it. And I think that having skepticism is a good thing. Tyler always asks the great questions. He really does. He's getting famous for that. I've gotten comments that he always asked a question that people want to know, and I think it's awesome. But my girlfriend Sam says the same thing. She loves it because he is so inquisitive. Give me a tux after that word. It's a big word. I might have even said that on the last episode. Folks, we're, like, three weeks ahead on episode. We really can do attitudes right now. I feel like you found your peace. I meant peace with that. But now I feel that it's a little different, especially on this. I feel like you're our guide for people a little bit, like, to help them I don't know, to help him a little along with this. Like, to tell them that, like, literally, if he was just a random person telling you that and it was genuine, you just said that you're like, I believed you, man. Absolutely. It took so much nerve to do that. But you're giving him that reassurance like, I know what it's been through, so I'm reassuring. There's a big part of having that kind of experience is to tell someone you're really putting yourself out there. And it's different, too, when you're talking about someone related to you or someone you cared a great deal about. Because I hate to say it, but nine out of ten people are going to have those experiences if they're not going to say anything until you do. And you have to be the person that says it. I can tell you from personal experience, just being on the podcast, the amount of people that have reached out to me with stories, that's great. Little teaser into some of the stuff. I've got a friend that he's big listener of the show, spent some time in the army, spent some time in the Marine Corps and service, and he's had some pretty wild experiences. Him. And I have. Seen some pretty weird things. And again, I guess I don't know if I just put so much stuff out that I'd forgotten so much stuff. He reminded me of a situation on actually, the guy I just talked about is Farm. Really? Yes. The guy that I saw sitting at the table, it was his farm where this happened, and I'm hoping to get him on the show. Mike, buddy, we're down. We definitely want to talk to you, and I would love for you to tell the stories, and it's just so weird. I've got some screenshots from Google Earth to corroborate stories from 20 years ago. He did a little bit of this stuff to us, too. Yeah. So I'm wanting him to get on here and tell us some of that. He's also corroborated some of the stuff that we've heard in past episodes about the fact that they do in fact tell you, do not shoot bigfoot when you go on certain missions for training in the army. Fantastic. So, Mike, buddy, if you're listening to this one, we're going to try to get you on soon, buddy, we'll get you into the garage. We'll get into the microphone and set up and let you tell your story. Absolutely. Please jump in and let us hear it. I will devour this. I just want you to know that I'm hopeless. Now, I feel like I dug you a little bit into it to see if what he was talking about happened anywhere else. But if he gives a little bit more, we probably can dig a little bit more. Yeah, it would help dig a little bit more into it. So, yeah, definitely. If you're listening to this, man, we want you on, man. You got to stop mowing the field. I will come up on a Friday night and let us know what your favorite beer is, and I will bring it. Oh, we already know some of it. It's other people's beer. Okay, good. That's even better. And cold, cold, cold. We check all his boxes. Yeah. He also is very he's very interested in trying some of the meat again, because the last he had was the stuff you had, the first home, but it wasn't ready yet. It hadn't been back. Sweetened. So it was kind of zinfandele. Oh, my God. You get out there. Listen, you just don't know. I know. Every time we talk about the meat, I gush. I'm not even ashamed if you guys are here in the nice storm we have going on. It's very gentle. It's good rain, a little bit of lightning. Really, though, if I can say this, I'm going to say this on the show. Fuck the weather guy. Seriously, he's probably a decent guy. But for this week, especially this past week, fuck that guy. He said it was going to be comfortable and nice today, and it was hot and hot and muggy and thick and unpleasant. I just learned this. I feel like you guys might know this. Yeah, I feel dumb a little bit. Okay. Do you know when they say the chance precipitation, the percentage I just learned this too. It's not the total area. 15% of the forecasted area might get rain. So if it says 90% for precipitation, 90% of the forecasted area might get rain. That's might I just learned that myself. I was like, really? And for those that aren't listening from the area of Kentucky, I noticed that we have a huge Louis following, so yeah, that's really strange too. Louisville and Lexington, man, we've got some big followers and we're 2 hours from Louisville, so that's pretty cool. But we also have followers in like Australia. Australia and Europe. You know what? South America. Two of them. I'm probably going to get some backlash for this, but Australians are kind of my favorite. Those are like British Texans. Yeah, they are. I love them. You know why I think they're my favorite? I've always felt this, and this probably makes no sense, and I totally am okay with that, but I've always felt like they were like our cousins. Britain is like our dad or mom and dad and we're like the shitty cousins. We're over here doing bad stuff, and then we get together with them and they're doing bad stuff and we're like, yeah, you guys are cool. Yeah. I have not met an Australian person yet that I didn't think was instantly fucking cool, but yeah. Speaking. Was it Lexington or Louisville? Crypticon. Yeah, Crypticon. I'm just letting you guys know. We're thinking about we want to try to do a booth, but I don't think it's too close in the close to it. Yeah, I think we might not be able to we might not do it, but we for sure will try to go there the Sunday, so I think it's the 22nd. Yeah, we're talking about trying to stuff goodies in our pockets and be inconspicuous and give out stuff to listeners that know who we are. We're going to try to get some shirts made up. Yeah. If you happen to spot us, three devilishly handsome bearded men walking around blocking muscles, glistening oiled, we rub these things with keels. Yeah, just six packs, just ABS just everywhere. We have ABS everywhere. If you come up to us, there might be a little something for you. We're going to do something. We're going to try to have shirts that have the logo on it so we know who we are and so other people know who we are. There's going to be somebody that's going to be like, dude, I went to Crypticon and the Kentucky X Files guy gave me a half drank beer and he like, high five me like eight times. Yeah. I was like, that's right, man. We've been passing out high fives the entire time we're there. Three handshakes. He kept calling him calling himself the Sassy squatch. That's our plan is to go on the Sunday and just kind of peruse the crowd, spectators we might record if we are allowed to. Yeah, I would definitely like to sneak the recorder in and just talk to people because we got the little thing on the end. We can just kind of do a little yeah. How do you think about we do the one of those earbud on the iPhone thing and just kind of do some recordings. We'll get some stuff. Send voice messages. Send voice messages. Email. Facebook. Yeah, facebook and email. Do we have any more emails? I don't have any more for this week. Well, I do. There's no message attached. I got some more pictures from Candace. She didn't leave me an explanation of what she was sending. It looks like she started, like, a photo album and she's sharing her pictures now directly to us. You guys can kind of see. Well, that's good. She's keeping us up to date. Like to touch base with her one night, just give her a call and see if anything news happened and she's all right. As far as emails, though, I don't have anything here beyond that. Absolute fantastic email from Sammy. Thank you for sharing that, Sammy. Really put yourself out there and it means a lot, man. It really does. Definitely. That's wild stuff. Yeah, absolutely. Especially Robert at Swan Leak. Oh, yeah, man, definitely. Always good to have you listening in. And it's good that you're still out there trying to get searching for the truth, man. That's awesome. I'm glad that you're still doing it, man. Absolutely. And good that your channel is doing good, too. That's awesome. Earlier, I said this before we were recording. I'm going to say it again so it's on the record. If there's anyone out there who's literally a top contender for being the guy that brings the sasquatch or sub A, however you want to say it too light. I really do think Robert is a contender for that because he's bringing the Thunder. Honestly, when you guys see what I have to show you, I think it's pretty amazing. Pretty damn amazing. But yeah, I don't have nothing. Got some Travis Drum stuff on here. He's been commenting away. It's our super fan. I'm pretty sure Travis is our top fan until somebody they're going to have to put in some work if they want to bump him. He's up there. He is our YouTube commenting king. I don't know if I touched base on this before, but I looked into Pike County for a guy named Matthew Lester. He had some weird sounds and things going on and actually pointed him in the right direction. That yeah, pike has a massive history of that was two episodes ago, was it? That we talked about? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. That'll come out this Monday. Yeah, I think possibly Monday. Yeah, I think that's the I think it's episode 30. Yeah, 30. Yeah. All right, well, guys, that's all I got, so if you guys want to wrap this up and say goodbye to these beautiful people, these constant listeners. Yeah, definitely. Like always, if you guys have anything, you guys want to talk, share, want to be on the episode, email us, go to our Facebook, all that jazz. Send us a voicemail, please work. Another thing, too, just like we said last week, if you send an email through the what is it? The support page. Yeah, the support page. Make sure you put your email address.
